Reg Cooper (c. 1920s – 24 March 2009) was a British country music singer and songwriter. John Denver recorded one of Cooper's songs, "Catch Another Butterfly". Cooper hosted a country music show called 'Orange Blossom Special', from 1969 until the early 1980s, on BBC Radio Nottingham. Cooper was registered blind, his interest in music began when he formed a group with a bunch of fellow partially sighted friends while working at a home for the blind. He won a recording contract in September 2000 with Cleveland City, who offered to spend £300,000 to promote his album ''Beautiful Day''. The title track was tipped as a Christmas number one by bookmakers.
